The SB970CR Scimitar Security Bollard provides a high level of security
\nagainst unauthorised vehicle access without the need for an outwardly
\naggressive appearance.
\nThe PAS 68:2005 impact rated bollard is an active bollard that is hydraulically
\noperated, it stands 1000mm in its fully raised position and retracts to road level
\nto allow authorised vehicles access. It can be integrated with our other PAS 68
\nstatic bollards to create a cohesive protective perimeter around an area or
\nbuilding.
\nThe active bollards are developed as a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM)
\nproduct and are designed to withstand direct impact forces in excess of 1,800
\nKJ, the bollard provides protection from extreme Vehicle Borne Improvised
\nExplosive Device (VBIED) attack to sites where aesthetics and public
\nperception are a consideration.<\/p>\n

Each bollard system comes with a push-button control as
\nstandard. However, it can be customised to interface with a wide
\nrange of access control equipment to suit specific customer
\nrequirements.
\nAvailable configurations include (but are not limited to) inductive
\nloop systems card readers, communication equipment and
\nmanned guard emergency systems can be accommodated.
\nFor safety reasons pedestrians, cyclists and motorcycles are
\nadvised not to use a bollard controlled roadway, additional safety
